OCOM's clinics open for telehealth. Medicinary open for refills.


We are looking for continuing patients interested in restarting their care via telehealth, before our anticipated “e-opening” in mid-June. Existing patients who are Oregon residents will have an interactive appointment with a licensed practitioner faculty and students through an online Zoom session.

What does a telehealth appointment cost?

Thanks to a grant from Kaiser Permanente Hospital Foundation, telehealth visits are currently free to our patients. The Foundation is covering the entire cost of the appointment (*herbs or other medicinary items are extra). Herbs and home care kits are an additional cost beyond the consultation.

What is in a home self-care kit?

The OCOM Herbal Medicinary is able to ship self-care kits for pain management, home moxa, and ear seeds based on referral from a telehealth appointment. The techniques of each kit must be demonstrated to each patient to ensure safety.

Who is eligible?

Due to state regulations, OCOM’s telehealth appointments are only available to existing OCOM patients who live in Oregon (those who have had an appointment in the past two years). 

How does “telehealth” work?

What equipment do I need?

You will need Internet access and a computer with a camera and microphone, or a smartphone with 4G or higher connectivity.
