DACM Degree Completion Track

Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
An entry-level, one-year option to gain your doctorate degree with added concentration areas of classical texts, collaborative care, and integrative health research. This track includes a live, integrative clinical component, and is taught in seven on-campus modular weekends with supplementary online coursework delivered throughout the year.

  • Applicants must have graduated from a master’s-level Chinese medicine program, but an active license and practice is not necessary.
  • Training in herbal medicine is required.
  • OCOM is accredited with ACAOM, and is seeking accreditation for this track.
  • Financial aid is not currently available for this track, though loan and scholarships options are.

DAOM Program

Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
Terminal Degree – Begins Fall 2020!
A clinically focused postgraduate, two-year accredited degree program specializing in women’s health and aging adults. Founded in 2003 and designed for the licensed practitioner maintaining an active practice, desiring to reach the highest level of achievement within the profession within the United States.

  • Taught in 10 modular weekends each year, over the course of two years.
  • Applicants must be able to document satisfactory completion of a master’s-level training in acupuncture and Chinese medicine (or its equivalent).
  • Training in herbal medicine is required.
  • Financial Aid available to those who qualify.
