Job Description

The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) seeks individuals interested in participating as mock-patient models in Masters-level acupuncture and Chinese medicine diagnostic labs during the following times:

Section A

  • Wednesdays: July 23, 30 & August 6 from 10:00 - 11:20am
  • Wednesday: August 13, 8:30 - 10:00am & 10:00 - 11:20am
  • Wednesday: August 20, 8:30 - 10:00am


    • Section B
  • Thursdays: July 24, 31 & August 7 from 4:00 - 5:20pm
  • Thursday: August 14, 2:30 - 4:00pm & 4:00 - 5:20pm
  • Thursday: August 21, 2:30 - 4:00pm


    • Section C
  • Thursdays: July 24, 31 & August 7 from 1:00 - 2:20pm
  • Thursday: August 14, 11:30 - 1:00pm & 1:00 - 2:20pm
  • Thursday: August 21, 11:30am - 1:00pm

    Actual treatments will not be administered, but intake interviews pertaining to symptoms, body systems, pulse, tongue, etc., will be conducted. Patient models will remain clothed.

    Volunteers will recieve one $10.00 gift card (to the OCOM Clinic, Trader Joes, New Seasons Markets, or Powells Books) per one-hour session attended.
